Deborah's Story

Life After all these years, I guess we all would have a lot to say!!! Okay, here goes....got married very young in Superior, WI; went there immediately after graduation; lived with maternal grandparents and married; had a son and daughter; now 34 and 31! One 3 yr. old grandson! (And a second one on the way end of December 2007)! Divorced; left WI; moved back to Y-town; remarried 8 years later to Frank D'Amico; divorced; no children; moved to Orlando, FL in 1995! LOVE IT! Would not live anywhere else. Have always worked for the government in one form or another. I am working for Orange County government, Orlando, FL. Previously worked for the Orlando Police Dept. and the US District Court! Been single for almost 17 yrs. now. Doing okay. Actually I work 2 jobs...my second job is working as a travel agent part time for Walt Disney World. Been there for a li...Expand for more
ttle over 11 years now. I love it. Will be retiring from Disney in about 3-4 years. That is about it! Nothing really exciting. Been on my own for most of my life! Oh yea...at the age of 53; found out that my 'dad' who I thought was my dad; really ISN'T my 'real dad'!! My mother passed in 2003 and kept this family secret all those years. It is quite a story! I have since met my real dad and we are trying to get to know each other. Yes, he knew about me all those years. It was agreed when I was born for me to never know! An older family member finally decided it was time for me to know. Shocked!!! That is the only way I can describe it! Most of you in Y-town will know this man. I don't want to identify him just yet!
