Deborah's Story
Life
Attended Clemson University and received a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences in December, 1995. Got married in December, 1994. Joined the Navy in September, 1995 and commissioned in February, 1996. Taught math and chemistry at Nuclear Power School first in Orlando then in Charleston, SC. Son, Anthony, born September, 1996. ography. Stationed at NAS North Island in San Diego from 2002 to 2003. Lived in Slidell, LA from 2003 to 2006 (and survived a direct hit by Hurricane Katrina). Received an M.S. in Hydrographic Science from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004 and got divorced in 2005. Working with Fleet Survey Team, I got to work in Okinawa, Misawa, Guam, Singapore, Indonesia, El Salvador, Malta, and Gibraltar. After that, I worked at the Naval Observatory and Pentagon. I am now stationed in San Diego.
