Deborah's Story
Me??? Still living in Hawaii 🌺. You wouldn’t know by my tan - I don’t have one. 🙃
Still married to Maurice since 1992 - 🤪 most happily! Step mom to 2 awesome adults and “GG” to 4 grandchildren - 2 in Singapore and 2 in Thailand.
Retired from United Airlines and anxious to get back in the skies after 2+ pandemic years.
Still actively volunteering with 2 NGOs:
• CauseVision.org. We create, publish, and distribute manga-style “Prevent Human Trafficking” comic books for “under-informed” communities. Globally.
• DaysForGirls.org. We work to help communities/countries achieve Menstrual Equity, so Every girl, Everywhere, can attend school Every day. Period.
This year we helped Hawaii State achieve its own Menstrual Equity law - SB2821 becomes law on 20...Expand for more
JUN22: all Hawaii public schools and public charter schools will be supplied with free pads and tampons. In our lifetime we’re working to witness the end of Period Poverty, Period Shame, and Period Stigma.
As for 🎼 🎵, my piano and flute get played occasionally. At one time I owned a cello and took cello lessons - but ran out of patience with self. Dang.
My mom, “Nurse Quigley” is 91 and in Tacoma. She spends her time working and creating in her art garden, meeting friends, walking her dog, and keeping her neighborhood connected. I’m in awe ❤️ Hey. She’s my date for our 50th !!!
Please. Please. If you’re going to be in Honolulu send me a text: 808.778.3080.
If I’m in town let’s meet up for drinks 🍹 and a 🌺 Hawaiian sunset. 🌈
