Deborah's Story
I have 3 children, April-29, Dustin-27 & Jared-19. April is married and gave my husband and I a beautiful grandson, Cayden, who is now 5. Cayden comes and spends the night with Grandma and Grandpa 1 weekend a month! He completes our life! He is such a joy, and smart too!
I married my highschool sweetheart, Jim Westphal, 14 years ago. Jim & I kept in touch after highschool -he living in California, and myself living in Nebraska and then my kids and I moving to Iowa.
I've worked for the U.S. Government in Nebraska now for 24 years. My husband, Jim, is a Director at a mentally handicapped facility. He is doing wonderfully! When our children were in high school, they all worked for Jim at one time or another. It was a good experience for...Expand for more

For relaxation I work in my yard with all of my flower gardens, bushes, trees, vines, and of course, a pond! It's relaxing to sit on the backyard deck and watch the hummingbirds come in to visit my vines! And, watch the cardinals and orioles come in and eat from the feeders! My grandson loves helping Grandma water all of her plants.
My twin sister, Dawn, married Ron Doom 30 years ago. She and Ron had 2 daughters together. Ron has a son and a daughter from a previous marriage, who Dawn calls her own kids! They have a total of 6 grandkids. They all live in Arizona.
Our parents still live in Bellevue in the same house. They are fine and healthy! They love being grandparents and great-grandparents!!
Life is truly wonderful!
