Deborah's Story
I retired from teaching in June 2013. Was one of three art teachers at Plainfield Central High School for 16 years. Prior to my return to teaching in 1997 I spent about 11 years as a Licensed Clinicial Professional Counselor using both my training in psychology and art. I taught for about 4 years right out of college as well as getting married to Ed Fleming from Plalinfield. I left fulltime teaching to have children and returned part time untile I went back to school in 19...Expand for more
85 to get a Masters in Counseling Psychology. Ed and I have 2 grown sons...one an artist and one is a musician/middle school band director. We have one granddaughter who was born to our oldest son John (J.J.) and his wife Gina in 2009. Chris, our younger son, is engaged to Katie and planning a wedding for Sept 2015.
Ed and I are both enjoying retirement developing our own business with our artist son Chris. We each specialize in a different media..pottery, metal and wood.
