Deborah's Story
Life
Ive been married to my husband Lee for 23yrs. We have 4 boys, Tim who is 23 yrs old and graduated from the Shawsheen tech 2004. He is in the Army now, and he has been deployed since July. He wants to be a police officer when he is out. Derek is 17 yrs, he is going in the 11th grade and plays hockey for the Senators and Billerica high. Ryan is 8. He is going in the 3rd grade. I had another baby boy on Oct 5th, 04 his name is Dylan. He was 9 lbs 9oz. Then I finally had a girl...I had her on 3-12-07 she was 5 weeks early and was 7 lbs 1oz. We named her Morgan Alyssa.
College
I graduated from Mass Bay in 95. Ive been working...Expand for more
as a nurse ever since I received my license in nursing homes. I started working at the V.A. hospital in bedford in 1997 taking care of veterans with dementia, altzeimers disease. I enjoy what I do, and Im very happy with where I am. When I returned to work from maternity leave, I was transfered to a rehab floor. I like this even better. I'm currently taking courses.
Workplace
I worked in a sheetmetal shop for 6 years. The company folded, then I decided to go into nursing. I graduated in 95 and was working at area nursing homes where I live. I got a nursing job at the V.A in Bedford in 97. I am currently still working there.
