Deborah's Story
My story in a nutshell:
I grew up in South St. Louis, attended Mullanphy Grade School, Roosevelt High School and Forest Park Community College.I learned to drive in Tower Grove Park, attended Shaw Avenue United Methodist Church and thought Shaw's Garden was my backyard.I played house and hide & seek where the Japanese Garden is now; it used to be free to enter and the gate was on Tower Grove Ave at Flora.
I married, separated after 13 years and 3 children- 1 son Jason was murdered on June 20th, 2001, the victim of an attempted carjacking, & 2 daughters. We never divorced & he passed away last year.I have 3 grandsons, & 1 granddaughter.

ve been in a relationship for 17 years, and probably the best part of that relationship is that we do not live together :). He is a good man and we love each other very much. Someday when we get old and tired of living alone or tired of family asking us when are we going to get married, we will; right now, we love it the way it is.
I work in North St. Louis, I am a project manager for a company that sells remanufactured office furniture.
I still live in South St. Louis and I love it here.
