Debra's Story
Hi! Well, I've been living in England since late July of 2002. My then boyfriend-(now husband)is English,-which is what brought me here, but I miss LANC. and plan on moving back at some point.We live in a quiet area reminiscent of Lancaster.
Ihave 4 birds-2 cockatiels,a gala cockatoo and a kacaricci.
for the last 20 yrs I've worked mainly in healthcare-especially Geriatrics- that's where my heart is.
In England, i've also worked with the elderly in nursing facilities and in private homes. People are the same all over. they need T.L.C. respect and a gentle touch.That is so lacking nowadays.

I have 3 gorgeous children-a daughter-30, a son-28, and a daughter-27 ,& 5 adorable grandkids.(3 boys-8,6,16 mths & 2 cute little girls-4.and the newest-8 nonths ).

my hero-other than my brothers and my son--was and is my dad. i wish i hadn't been so focused on finding happiness and not being a disappointment to my family, that i didnt spend the quality time with my dad that i should have,and now hes gone(july 2000)he was the one positive unconditionally loving person in my life ,but i didnt appreciate the time i had with him. i'll never forgive myself.
