Life I am a special eduation teacher. I married an Air Force officer in 1980. I have twin sons' Mike and Matt. When I updated my bio last, they were 19! Now they are 24 now, one is a 4th grade teacher and the other a massage therapist, lucky us. and I am 50 now and loving it!They say the 40's are the new 30's and so on!! Bring it on! We have been here on Oahu 6 years, and have moved from base housing to a home in Aiea, Hawaii. My hubby Mike retires after 34 years in the Air Force, and we have decided to stay here. We love the warm weather, and no snow shoveling in the winter! We live up on a mountain ridge and down in the Halawa Valley. We have a clear view of all of Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona. I kind of miss the base house, we lived right down the street from the mouth of the Pearl Harbor channel, and would go to meet and wave at the carriers and ships coming in out. But, now we get to see it from our deck or lanai). We didn't go far though, just a few miles down the road, and don't have to fight the afternoon traffic, which is really bad here!
