Del's Story
School
Hmm.. Would I do it over. No.... Had a lot of fun, dealt with a lot of crap. Funniest time, had to be the last week of senior year when I got even with Bob Kurcina for a stunt he pulled back in Middle School. Sorry Bob! I wouldn't have done it but, the temptation was too great. Poor Bob ended up wearing his hamburger rather than eating it.
Happiest moments were spent with the girlfriends I had through high school. Thanks for the wonderful memories!
I really did a bad thing though :-( I lost touch with all the old gang, Kaye, Kristen, Sherrie, Pam, Michelle, Barbara, Robert, Brian, Scott, Todd, Jeff, Walter, Chris, Gordon, Mike, Bill, Greg, Cliff, Lois, Monica, Helen, Julie, Laura, Woody, Ed, Lori and everyone else. (I'm sorry if I left out your name, It's that just so many of you touched my life in a positive way). I've managed touch base with some of you and hope to get back in touch with as many of you as I can.
College
Oh God! the things that I did when I went back to school! It's a wonder I didn't suffer permanent brain damage from sleep deprivation! Work, SJSU, two bands, and working at BGP at the Shoreline. I still wonder how I did it.....
Workplace
Well, from being a...Expand for more
security guard to pay the bills to executive management at Sharp. To owning my own company. It's been a long road.
Moved on to being a clerk at Mitsubishi then to a Service tech at Xerox. Crossed over into sales selling copiers at several different companies until I landed a job at i-data International. Then my career really took off and after directing world wide sales for a small bay area company went to work for Sharp directing a national sales division for software as a start-up.
Now I own my own consulting firm and business is finally picking up.
I have one kid with Christina which most of you know about. We divorced in '84 and I married a nice German girl in '89 who had 2 daughters of her own. They now are married and have children of their own.
I've traveled around the country for work . Lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Wichita, Sacramento and now just north of Boise.
Life has come full circle and I am just starting to get back in touch with all the friends I've made over the years.
If you've read this far, do me a favor and reach out and say hi. Even if we weren't the closest of friends in high school, grade school or where ever. I would really like to hear from everyone.
Cheers!
