Delores's Story
Life
After I graduated in 1973, I worked for a year and joined the military in 1974. I was posted to Edmonton where I met my husband Jim. We moved to Petawawa where we had two children - a daughter and a son. We lived there for four years and then we moved to Calgary.
I attended the University of Calgary through the CF University program and graduated from Nursing in 1990. We moved to Ottawa June 1990 where I worked as a military nurse at the National Defence Me...Expand for more
dical Centre. I left the CF in 1995 and completed a Masters degree in Health Administration. I have worked in several areas from community nursing to Workers Comp and the Federal Government. I worked for a National Home Care Company as a Director of Regional Development for 8 years and went to Saudi Arabia to work as a program director for King Faisal Hospital for 2 years. I am not in Kuwait as the Director of Clinical Services establishing a home care program.
