Yvonne 's Story
O.K. here goes catching you up on my life. After high school I went to Cleveland Tech and took an LPN course for one year. Then I went to work at Cleveland Memorial Hospital third shift in September 1970. In September 1971 I married Larry Lawson. In 1972 we had our first son Kevin (who is now 37years old), married (Holly) with two children Anna 7 and Brady 5. In 1975 we had our second son Wesley (who is now 33 years old) married (Kim)with one son Cole. In 1979 we had our third son, Brian (who is now 30 years old) still single and hunting desperately for a job. He has a BS in electrical engineering and cannot find a job. In 1990 I left Cleveland Memorial Hospital and went to work at Dialysis Clinic Inc. at Shelby. I worked there and loved it until my back gave out on me in 2007 and went to wo...Expand for more
rk at Casp Internal Medicine where I am still employed. We live in Bostic, N.C. the big city. I love going to church, singing with my brothers and sister in church, and spending time with my family. My best friend Joyce Deyton (Downey) from first grade until a year ago passed away with cancer. I miss her so much. I would like to hear from some of my friends from school whom I have not seen since high school. I would post a picture but I don't know how. I am not a Gold member so I don't even know if this will make it to my profile. I, too have gray hair and have gained much to much weight, but they say America is overweight! It is always good to hear and read about people I knew way back when.
