Denise's Story
Life
After High school I went to SUNY Fredonia for 5 semesters. The next year I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. I spent the next 20+ years working in the computer field as a US Marine. During that time I was married (and divorced) twice. I have 4 children - 2 boys and twin girls. I retired from the Marines on February 1, 2003. On February 10th I stared working for Integrated Data Systems in Chantilly Virginia. Integrated Data Sytems merged with ManTech Internation three weeks after I joined the comapny. I stayed there for a little more than 5 years, then changed jobs. I am currently working for SpecTal LLC. Life at home is never dull. Both boys, now 24 and 21 have moved out and moved back in. The girls (now twelve keep me busy between band, chorus, and of course sports - currently Grace is playing soccer. So, work fulltime, and a part time chauffer, house-keeper, and chef. I sometimes find time to actually get 6 hours of sleep at night.
School
I had too many crushes to count in school. I think my biggest crush was David Shelp. If I could go through school again I think I would play sports this time. I also think I would try to be more "girlie". You know actually do my hair and nails.
College
College was a blast. I would like to reconnect with the following people though: Eloise, Peggy, Jennifer, and Janice, my first roommate.
Workplace

ng as a Facility Security Officer for SpecTal LLC. I am working on a contract supporting AmTrak. I ride the train into DC every morning and home (Warrenton VA) every afternoon.
Military
I joined the Marine Corps for a multitude of reasons in 1982. I couldn't afford college anymore, and I didn't want to stay in Western New York. After comparing all the services I decided to challenge myself and become a Marine. (Besides all the Marine Bases were located in warm weather areas - look out Cali here I come). After Boot Camp I went on to school to become a Mainframe Computer Operator, then a Production Control Analyst, Teleprocessing Technician, Security Specialist and finally a Small Systems Technician. I was stationed in California for the majority of my first 10 years in the Marines. (I did go to Okinawa for 1 year in June of 1988 - July of 1989). Then I moved on to the world of recruiting in Indianapolis Indiana. From there I moved to Sunny Arizona for 4 years then back to Okinawa, Japan. I finally got back to the East coast (just in time for retirement) in August 2001. Thanks to 9/11 I was placed in the best job I could have ever asked for with the Joint Task Force Computer Network Operations. From there I retired in February 2003.
I loved the military life, after all where alse can you pop out some pups (have children) and be forced to get back your girlish figure in record time.
