Denise's Story
I moved to Miami in 1999 & I've been enjoying it every since. There is never a dull moment in Miami & PLEASE don't believe everything you hear on the stupid news channels about how bad it is here. Remember the only good news is mostly about bad news that is happening anywhere in the world.
I've taken a road to a new career recently. I am a grant writer that assists in writing grants, fundraisers & setting up boards for nonprofit organizations. This is a very rewarding career & I also meet fantastic people! :-)
Since my move I've been through a few hurricanes (Katrina & Wilma were fun! NOT! LOL). I would rather go through a hurricane any day over a tornado, earthquake etc... At least we have plenty of warning of when one is heading our way.
I enjoy relaxing with my family & playing games on my iPhone, when I'm not busy.
What's the wildest thing I've did in school? Ummmm I'm not telling, but some of you know!! ;-)
My biggest surprise was meeting the man of my dreams online. Some may say this is crazy, but we are a perfect example of an online romance that did and is working out. :-)
What I've learned from my kids is to be veryyyyy patient in...Expand for more
life otherwise things will drive you crazy! LOL
If I won $100 million, I'd start up my own nonprofit organization to help others in need, buy a home in St. Lucia, Maui & Florida (to outrun hurricanes! LOL), then help out a few domestic violence victims (there aren't nearly enough shelters for those victims!), our children & a few of our friends in need & save the rest for rainy days with a lot of fun.
But to be truly happy, you should remember that money doesn't buy happiness & you are most content when you are with your soul mate & family.

What about me would surprise everyone at your high school reunion? Ummm I modeled lingerie one night (don't look so shocked! It was fun!), but didn't like being looked at like a prime steak on someone's plate! Men always do that to women! Shame on ya! LOL
What surprises me most is why people on this site do not fill in their profiles more! Why is that? LOL
I know aurora can be boring, but come on people fill in those profiles and post those pictures! How bad can it be? We all change throughout life, nothing will ever change that. Be proud of your self & show off your life since high school! :-)
