Denise's Story
Life
That's me with my new nephew Levi - isn't he just gorgeous!?(of course, I'm being partial) Of course he's not so little anymore (he's going to be 5 in October) and too, now he has to share the spotlight with his 11month old sister Allison Rose. They're both the light of my life! The other photo is from about 16 years ago when I was a lil' ol' booth clerk at King Soopers store #68. (Oh to be that young again!) Life has been great! I'm still single, but my life is whole. I have wonderful friends and family and a great job.As of June 21st 2008 I am now officially a college graduate! Got my Bachelors in Business Management. (Who'd a thunk I'd ever do it?!) Ha Ha! I am currently undecided as to whether or not I'm going to go on for the 11 extra classes to get my graduate degree. At this point, I'm pretty burnt out on school, but I am seriously considering it.
Workplace
What started out as a summer job in 1989 has turned out to be the longest summer of my life!!! (It was 19 years this past June...ugh!). No Really, King Soopers has been great to me and my family. I'm currently the Cash Auditor for the company which means I get to travel all over the state of Colorado along with New Mexico, Utah and WyomingI love it! I'm hoping that that little piece of paper I just received will help me go further in ...Expand for more
the company... I dunno, we'll see!
If I won $100 million, I'd share most of it with my family, then spend the rest on traveling, a house and ME! .
My first job was at Warehouse Fireworks, where I got paid I don't remember to box up fireworks. What I remember most about it is A stupid old man accused me of stealing his $100 bill - I stil think he was trying to scam me!.
I always wanted to be a actess when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were way off base! .
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have my Ipod, cellphone, and lap top to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
You always hear single women saying that when they marry they hope to marry a man like their dad - well, I hope that someday I hope I find a man like my brother. What a wonderful example of what a good husband and father should be! I never would have imagined it when he was younger, but he turned out quite well. He's probably one of my very best friends and his approval of whoever I end up with means so very much to me!
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Jeff Powell, because he was my first love and I've never forgotten him. I'd love to see how he is now.
I'm not obsessed, and It's so redneck but I LOVE NASCAR (Go Junior!)I also love Drag Racing.
