Dennis's Story
Life
I am currently serving as a Technical Sergeant in the US Air Force (was) working C-130 (Hercules) aircraft and have worked on MH-53 (Jolly Green) helicopters. I have been in the USAF since Dec. '93. I started my AF career after basic and technical training at Little Rock AFB, Ar ('94-'96) and then moved on to Osan Ab, S.Korea ('96-'97). I was then stationed at Yokota AB in Tokyo, Japan (Nov'97- Nov'03). I loved it there in Japan. I then moved to Ramstein AB, Germany ('03-'06). Germany is a beautiful country, but a completely different change of pace compared to Japan. It is like a person going from NYC to Montana. I am now back in Japan, except this time I am at Kadena AB on Okinawa. I am working on C-5, C-17, & commercial aircraft that come through the base. I am married to a very wonderful & beautiful Japanese woman with a boy named Aaron Kaito (meaning enlightened sky). I have been to a lot of countries since I've been in the AF. Just to name them; Thailand, Egypt, S. Korea, Saudi Arbia, Oman, England, Iceland, Canada, & Malaysia. At my assignment in Germany, I had been to Italy (Aviano AB & Pisa), Bulgaria, Spain, Denmark, Mali (Africa), Algeria (Briefly for gas), Israel, Crete, Iraq and Kuwait. I have also visited France (Paris), Luxembourg, and Italy (R...Expand for more

School
Probably my biggest crush was on Corey Ingram during 5/6th grade at Glendale-Feilbach and then in High School. She never knew it.
Military
I don't have anything good to share from my early years. The wildest time in the military is when I was in Korea from '96-'97. I would party hard several times a week there and towards the end it was about every day. My one experience that I remember was going out on a friday night with buddies (about 8-10 of us). We went to this one bar called Heavy Metal. We didn't last long. Within about 1 hour or so, we were already trashed. We drank two 1-liter glasses of jungle juice that had unregulated soju (korean liquir) in it that time. Next thing is that the SP's (Air Force security police) were taking us back to the base. We piled in to taxis to go back to our barracks. I remember being so trashed that I had my head out the back window drooling like a dog all over the place. The cabbie wanted me to clean it up but I just walked away. My parting contiuned when I moved to Japan for my next assignment for about a year until I met my wife. We met at the on-base club, where she thought I was crazy. But when I was sober she had seen my better side.
