Dennis's Story
Life
I am currently serving as the Pastor of Sacred Heart Church and the Catholic Campus Minister at The Citadel and supply priest at The College of Charleston. I have been a priest of the Diocese of Charleston for 16+ years. After the Citadel I went into the USAR and on active duty in the Army. I attended the first Army Aviation Officer's Basic Course and completed my flight training in 1985 at Ft. Rucker, AL. From there I served in various Attack He...Expand for more
licopter units and was stationed in Ft. Campbell, KY and Chun Chon, Korea. After my tour of duty with the 309th Attack Helicopter Battalion in Korea I left the active Army to pursue my vocation to the priesthood. I entered studies in Hartford, CT at St. Thomas Seminary and completed my studies at St. Mary's Seminary and University in Baltimore, MD in 1994. I was ordained in July of 1994.
I love being a priest and consider myself to be richly blessed.
