Derek's Story
Life
My name is Derek. I attended Kate Sullivan Elementary from 1976-1979. Then I went to Hartsfield Elementary from 1979-1982. When I finished Hartsfield I went to Cobb from 1982-1986, transferred to Florida High from 1986-1988 and yet again changed schools to attend Lively Technical School where I took Culinary Arts and got a G.E.D. in 1990. ent agencies. TCC the first time around was not successful for me (I was immature and not ready for college) so I just kept working my way around. That is until 2000 when I finally got a permanent job with ACS, which I unfortunately had to resign from on November 2008 due to a family emergency. Now that the emergency is cleared up, I am looking for work once again. I am back at TCC again hoping to finish classes and get a degree, though I am not really sure what field yet.
