Devon's Story

Life I entered college with a full Air Force ROTC scholarship but had it taken away due to seizures I have in my sleep, most likely caused by my car accident in 1991. I finished college with a bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering and was hired by Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. in Stratford, CT to perform system integration on the RAH-66 'Comanche' helico...Expand for more
pter. While there, I met my wife, Hanna, and we were married in 2001. Hanna gave birth to our daughter, Morgan, one year later. The cancellation of the 'Comanche' helicopter in February of 2004 led my wife and I to leave Sikorsky to work for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Co. in Marietta, GA. I am now an avionics engineer on the F/A-22 'Raptor' fighter jet.
