Diana's Story
My maiden name was Diana Divers. I lived nearby Brent campus in Mrs. Hyet's home. Mrs. Hyet was an art teacher at Brent. I was a junior in high school. The next year my sister and I transferred to Vietnam where my father was stationed. He moved from Saigon to Dalat Vietnam where there was an American High School.
I retired from the school system and loving every minute of retirement! I often say "when did I find time to work?" My husband, Jim, was in the military and we traveled often from one duty station to another as well as spent time overseas. We still have the traveling bug! We enjoyed RV-ing for 10 years and now travel still by car. We have enjoyed many of the National Parks as well as the local flavor, Texas. We have three...Expand for more
girls, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. I do not remember growing old!
My passion is photography. I started my journey into photography while traveling in our RV in California. I enjoyed taking pictures of the wonderful sights we saw and reliving my trip through the photos I took. Photography developed into a career as a freelance photographer for our town's Schertz Magazine. It now has expanded to working for the Schertz Chamber of Commerce as one of their photographers. I do not consider this WORK for it is a real joy being a part of this great town and interacting with the good folks of our town. Contact me if you would live to view my photo web site. Taking photos of nature is my favorite choice of photography.
