Diana's Story
Life since the Venice days I've had some up and downs. I moved to Irvine, Ca in Orange County and was in the Medical Field as an Office Manager for many many years. In 1986 I had gotten married briefly and lived in the San Fernando Valley and had a baby girl named Jessica. I divorced thank goodness and then met my husband Raul in 1988 and got married in 1990 with whom I'm still married too today in 2015. My husband and I moved to the Tuscany Hills area in 2011 in Lake Elsinore, Ca and bought an estate over looking the lake in Canyon Lake area. We plan to retire here!! Its very peaceful and quiet area and we're able to be near the water. It's not the beach but it is beautiful!! My oldest daughter Jessica has her own children which makes me a GRANDMA. I'm told all the time I don't look like a grandma! LOL Jessica works F/T as a Human Resource Manager and is school F/T to get her Masters Degree. I'm very proud of her for all her hard work. My 2nd husband Raul and I also had a son in 1990 when named him Matthew. Now he's Mr Popular!! Can you believe he went to 3 proms in one year YIKES that was expensive!! We're are very proud of him as well he's third in the STATE in the MMA field. He's works F/T as a manager in the Jiu-Jitsu field and also is working F/T as a trainer for the 10th Planet gyms. Yes I said 2 F/T jobs he's crazy but he loves what he does. He started doing Jiu-Jitsu as a youngster and now he has made it his life mission to continue showing people the beauty of the craft. We're very happy that our children have learned that they have to work hard to get what they want in life and not just expect anything to be handed to them. he baby fever lol and wanted another one. My husband thought I was going nuts at first since I was just turning 40 and he's 5 years older than me. He was just concerned about how I would feel since I was no spring chicken lol but in the end we got pregnant right away and had our our baby girl Samantha in 2006. It was the best decision we every made!! I'm really enjoying motherhood the second time around!! Since now that I don't have to work and I'm a stay at home mother/grandmother. My days are filled with the kids and of course taking care of my spoiled husband.!! It is a wonderful feeling to have knowing that my 2 grand kids and my little one will all be growing up together. Life is and has been very good to me! I find the positive in every situation and learn from my past mistakes so I don't repeat them! I can't stress enough to everyone think positive it does make a difference! I gives a special thanks to both of my parents whom put up with me as a CRAZY teenager!I know I was a spoiled rotten brat!! I had the great pleasure to have them both live with us and that I took care of both of them in their golden years at which point both of them had passed away in my arms at different times of course, but it has changed my life forever! I live everyday to the fullest and I never hold anything back because you never know when it's your last time to see that person. Getting older and becoming responsible is a interesting transitions. I've learned to enjoy the moment and to be grateful for all that has been given as well as taken away! I take nothing for granted and know that my life has purpose and meaning and for that I am grateful!! I hope to hear from any old school mates thank you for reading my story.
