Diana Huddleson- West:  

Diana was born in Salem, Oregon and moved to California at the age of 4. She lived in Hanford where her Sister Kathy was born, then San Jose, and back to Oregon, where Brother Danny was born. Returning to California in 1959, they lived in Redwood Estates, Los Gatos and finally settling in downtown Campbell along the Los Gatos Creek. She attended Hamilton Elementary, Campbell Jr. High, and Campbell High School. Then back to Campbell Jr. High which was now West Valley College working toward a Business Management Degree. Diana met her high school sweetheart, Dave Massara, through the matchmaking of their mutual friend, Linda Alvarez. Linda had gone to school with Dave and his brother John in Pacifica before moving to Campbell. She insisted that they were perfect for each other! Linda set up a introduction on Valentine's Day in 1964 at the "What's It Club" in San Jose. This was a great place for teenagers to dance & play pool and was chaperoned by Nuns from the local Catholic Church. Diana and Dave fell in love and had big plans for their future, but as most high school sweetheart stories go, their 5 year relationship came to an end.
