Diana's Story
Life
After graduating,went to FDU,but did not stay,went to work for NJ Bell at that time.I am now retired aft 30years. Did get an AAS degree from Bergen Community while working.My father had gotten ill and went blind,so I took care of him till 1992 till he passed away. I met a wonderful man,John Burns,and we were married in 1998,and have 2 wonderful stepchildren,Colleen who graduated Drexel Univ and is a merchandiser for Lillian Pulitzer in Philly and travels to China often,and Jackie who is hearing impaired has graduated the French Pastry School in New York and works at the High Lawn Pavillion in West Orange.I lived in Closter till 2000 and moved to West Milford,NJ.In December of 2005 we moved to Morganton,NC by Lk. We are not sure if this will be our final place to stay,but it is truly beautiful and we have a wonderful view of the mountains.I have taken a personal trainer course but have not gotten my certification yet. We both work out,ride motorcycles and bikes,hike etc.I hope we have a reunion because I truly miss seeing my friends. I had a great high school experience and hope you are all doing well. Just a little addition as of june 2006- I am writing for The News Herald Nespaper now,something I always dreamed of doing. I am also hooked on Kayaking,what a kick.I have competed in the North Carolina Senior games and won medals at the local and state level, and my basketball team has gone to the State finals in Greenville.I also have started to do volunteer work for the Burke County Friends for Animals which I love.
