Diana's Story
My journey began in Petaluma where I'd spent the richest years of my youth. Some parents of the children I went to school with had gone all the way through school with my mother years before.
Petaluma was a quaint, safe, and family oriented community. I remember walking quite a long distance to school, and riding my bike until dark. We would play while unattended (gasp), and if you didn't know someone you'd just met chances were they knew your family, friends, or peers etc. We rarely locked our doors, and strangers were people you were to be kind to, not be fearful of. I treasure those times in my heart, and am very grateful to have experienced such a gift. How life has changed...

have guessed since teenagers are masters at hiding their true feelings.
Regretfully, rebellion was the guise I chose and consequently, and most of all fortunately, I have learned many valuable life lessons as a result.
I was a single mother of a son, 28, and am now an "older" (married) mother of two beautiful children ages 5, and 7 (yes, they're my biological children). I'd worked my entire adult life up until seven years ago when my 7 year old was born. I'm now a stay at home soccer mom! Ever wonder which job is harder staying at home (see jobs in Q & A), or working outside the home ? My 65-hour workweek was a cakewalk compared to this job, but not nearly as fulfilling.
Life is short, getting shorter by the day! Life is a process, be grateful for what you have, treasure those you've known, and be open to those you've yet to meet.
I am truly appreciating the second trimester of life. Thank GOD I don't have to go back to redo the teen years. Well, sort of... ;)
