Diane's Story

I married Don Ainsworth in 1963 after graduating from San Diego State. I was a first grade teacher in San Diego City Schools for 4 years before moving to Massachusetts and then New Jersey where my husband was transferred while working for Melville Shoes. In 1977 we moved back to San Diego where I returned to teaching. Don also became a teacher. Don retired 2 ...Expand for more
years ago, and I just retired in June. We have two children and three grandchildren. Our grandchildren live across the street from us, and we volounteer at their school. We also enjoy long walks,attending local theater productions, and trips to the beach and mountains. Don is very active in Kiwanis, and I am still deciding what I want to do next. Life is good!
