My Pets
As catwoman extraordinaire, I have rarely lived without an inordinate amount of black cats or with a tasteful array of formerly stray ones. Currently have Lisa Marie from Van Bibber Lake, IN, TOM Tigger from West Hollywood, CA, Snuggles (aka "Fluffy Guy") from Burbank, CA, and Tiny TOM from Memphis, TN, where I currently have my feet planted.
My Kids
Michael Sean is 36, programmer-stock broker, married to Heidy, an attorney specializing in immigration law. They live and work in Beverly Hills, CA and are expecting their first child (my 1st GRAND one) in 8-01.
Sean has been involved in a programming project about John Wayne with Michael Wayne, JW's oldest son for the past five years or so, as well as having his own internet server and other clients.
Nina Elizabeth was born on Sean's 16th birthday some 20 years ago. She is a freshman at Los Angeles Valley College, majoring in tasting the banquet of college life while working full time at an upscale boutique in Toluca Lake, CA.
She is a 2-time past Honored Queen of Job's Daughter's Bethel No. 208, and was the Grand Bethel Senior Princess 1999-2000 for the state of California.
Nina attended a visual arts magnet high school in Los Angeles and is currently enjoying the new Fujitsu laptop that her proud mother sent for her birthday.

My Job
As administrative goddess of a mid-sized electronic salvage & retail computer company located in Memphis, TN, I work 6 days a week and love every minute of it.
I was lured from the safety and sanctuary of SoCal by a friend who promised me no rose gardens but a HUGE mess of mismatched paperwork. He did NOT lie.

for nearly 16 mos and we are sniffing the roses finally. It's been a lot of hard work, elbow grease up the wazoo, and manna from the gods.
To feed my creative side, I spent most Sundays relishing my free time, writing adult-oriented "arousal" stories that are published on my own author's web page, and watching NHL hockey. And, of course, I'm working on a romance novel for the mature woman, "My Mother's Face."
Hey! Let's face it at nearly 57, it's been not a few years since last my graduating class stood there on the brink of our lives in our caps and gowns, eagerly awaiting the next page.

P.S. It is now June of 2007...son and daughter have aged as have I! Grandson will be 6 years old next month. He's taking private tennis lessons and amazes me with his shot choices. He's also playing Little Leagure baseball this summer and currently loves playing second base.
I'm semi-retired and working away at writing fanfics, orginal stories, and even a romcom novel for mature women...! Dotter is busily setting up a website for me so I can share some of them with interested parties.
I've been back in Los Angeles for nearly four years and am living in my son/D-I-L's teeny, weeny guest cottage. Life is good. My health is also. Same skinny legs but the gut has pushed its way toward freedom! Lustrous locks have thinned but still blondish...eyes now require two pairs of glasses; faraway and close-up...daughter is working on her BA from UofI-Springfield online. My darling MommyMom was 90 in Feb and I can only hope to live as long and in as good health.
