Diane's Story

Life Since we last saw each other (10 year reunion), I got divorced at 30; stayed single for several years; lost a lot of weight; met and married current husband (February 1994); was diagnosed with Endometriosis; had two surgeries and got put on hormone treatments that made me gain all the weight back, BUT were ultimately successful, resulting in both the birth of my beautiful daughter in 1995 (three weeks after my 40th birthday), and current remission of the Endo. We live in south Arlington, almost to Mansfield between Matlock and Collins. I Quit corporate America last year and started my own struggling business. Lord willing I will not have to give it up and start over. I am much too young for health issues...Expand for more
to get me down yet. Husband was a sheet metal worker in the aircraft industry for 15 years and his last layoff from that, in 1994, qualified him for a government retraining program. He is now a Registered Nurse at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth. Daughter is in grade school and Girl Scouts, and life is truly blessed. It should surprise no one that she is reading at least 3 grade levels beyond her actual grade in school. That is the past 20-something years in a nutshell. I hope your lives are going as well as mine. I would have come to the reunion in 1998 but didn't know about it. If someone will tell me about the next one, I would like to attend. There are people I miss and would love to see again.
