After 74 years in Baytown, Texas (the town which has tried to make itself a silk purse out of a sow's ear for the last century; the town which sprang from a red light district to build a church on every corner), I'm leaving my two acres, the town and the state forever. here as much as a square peg in a round hole. Too many beloved friends have gone, as well as my family. The friends who are left all voted for Trump. Farewell, Baytown. I'm off to new adventures, new surroundings and new friends.
