Dianna's Story
Life
Hi everyone! I'm in Crestview, FL., happily married, with two amazing boys, Cole 12, Easton 6.
"Life IS good!"
School
School wasn't so bad. Senior year was awesome! Have alot of good memories. Cheering and Drama were the highlights of school for me. (Loved Mrs. Spence, she was the best :)
My friends included Traci, Scott, Dana, Julie, Cindy, Alisa, Rebecca, Rhonda, and Christy. (Just to name a few). Good friends and great memories.
Everyone who knew me, and knew me well, knew there was only *one love* for me, and that was Jody Walker. Boyfriend/neighbor. Dated for 5 years. We grew up together. Good times along with the bad. It was definitely a learning experience that I obviously needed. And although I went through a few more serious relationships over the years, fortunately, I FINALLY got it right! I really had no idea it could be THIS GOOD. Got the whole package deal, that I never thought even existed! (Hey, I did my time, and I deserved it.) lol.
Just too many memories of high school, and not enough time to share them all. HOWEVER, there is one time that sticks in my mind though... "Senior skip day..."
There was about 15-20 of us skip...Expand for more
ping that day. We followed each other to Gulf Shores, hung out on the beach, indulging in cold beer (prolly the cheap kind of course, lol) and just having a good time! (Not sure if that was the same day we took up a collection to bail Mark Hendrix out of jail or not.. lol!) Hmm...that may have actually been during Spring break??? ANYWAY...the next day I was called out of class by Mr. Knight to fill in for Mrs. Stevenson. I was to call the parents of the students that were on the absentee list from the previous day. (YEP, THAT WAS SENIOR SKIP DAY), Very sunburned, it was obvious *I* had been in the sun all day, but okay...whatever. Mr. Barber just kept looking at me with this little grin and shaking his head...lol. He SO knew, but never said a word! Needless to say, I only PRETENDED to call the parents. There was no way I could have done that and felt right about it. Surely my name was on that list?!?! How could they have missed that one?! That was CRAZY!!!
So many memories, so little time. Overall, I think we had a pretty good class. We certainly knew how to throw some *killer* parties (as we use to say back in the day) lol, that's for sure!!
