Dick 's Story
Life
Left Mt Airy after sophomore year in 1953, moved with family to Chapel HILL, Finished high school there in 1955. Went to UNC, majored in art. Went back in 1964 for post-grad work. MBA in 1968, joined RCA Corp, moved to NJ worked for graphic systems division, one year MIS training program. Transferred to Mass. Back to Charlotte, NC following divorce. Then to Greensboro with Lorillard Tobacco Co. Cerebal aneurysm in 1998, retired from Lorillard 2002.
School

52 and finished High School there. Truly wish I had finished in Mt. Airy. Had a crush on Linda Cox, but too shy to get to know her. Went to UNC (Chapel Hill) after HS, majored in art. Worked in town a few years after college, married HS sweetheart, had two children. Returned dto college 1965 to earn MBA. Finishd masters program 1968, moved to NEw Jersey to work for RCA's computer division in MIS. Found computer work very exciting. Later moved to Mass. then back to Charlotte, NC. Now in Greensboro, having retired from Lorillard tobacco company.
