After graduation from UMass, Amherst in 1969, I trained at Navy Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI. From there I attended and graduated from Supply Corps School and was ordered to the west coast and the USS Midway. om 1987 to 1996, I worked for a small family-run business outside Boston while my young children grew. After parting with the bicycle shop, I started temping as an office assistant.

My two older children have graduated from college (Penn & Brown) and my youngest is about to begin 6th grade.
The de-cession is hard, and life continues with its challenges, but we are strong and persistent. Things will be good. Cheers!
