Dina's Story
Life
I have benn through a lot since high school. I married a fellow Sachemite who graduated in 1983. His name is Erik Hanson. We've been married since August of 1990. We have a 12 year old son named Erik Jr, of course, being the Chichette I had to do it. My brothers are doing great too. Anthony has a 12 year old daughter, Alicia Rose Chirchirillo. Frank married Tricia Peterson, his high school sweetheart and they have an almost 4 year old son, Gavin and had a daughter Morgan Elizabeth May of 2005. Michael is still single and living at home with mom and dad.

d. But, miraculously I came out of it and was home in 10 days. The a few months later I had to get a tracheotomy because I couldn't breathe, went through numerous surgeries, and finally in 2003 the doctors did a tracheal transplant and the hole is gone. In November of 2000 I was in a car accident by MacArthur Airport and broke my neck. I gained about 100 pounds in the three months that I was in that contraption they called a halo. Now I'm doing much better and I live out in East Hammpton. It's a beautiful place. In May I was on Good Morning America where they featured me and the tracheal transplant I received in 2003.
