Don's Story
Life
After high school, I got a bachelors and a masters from Baylor University, then came back to Arkansas. I worked for a few years in Arkansas state government, then left to get a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Alabama. for Mathematics and Sciences. In 2002 I was elected to the Pulaski County School Board. I married my wife, Lea, in 1994, and we have a 12 year old son, William and a 3 year old daughter, Molly Claire. I joined the U.S. Department of State in 2005 as a Foreign Service Officer and have served tours in Mexico City and Kingston, Jamaica. I am currently serving as a Political Officer in Baghdad, Iraq.
