Don's Story
Immediately after High School I joined the armed forces. Served two tours of duty in Viet Nam in the Navy.. 4 yrs total
After that I went to the University of Minnesota in Mpls for 4 yrs was elected to student government there and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business....Frank Hathaway, another U of M grad and Mounds View (Class of 65) and I had all the fun you can possibly jam into 4 years back then. Also attended Grad school-MBA classes thru Mankato State.
Met my wife , got married, started working, and bought a house in Bloomington and next Burnsville..
Still had lots of fun..Worked for Honeywell for almost 2...Expand for more
0 yrs in various accounting type jobs. Along the way, my wife hooked up with the milkman and I developed an interest in Residential Real Estate Investment.. Owned several apartments in NE Mpls.
Also developed an interest in Golf.
Ended up retiring at age 55 and currently living on a golf course, near the Gulf Of Mexico, in deep south Texas.. Spend the summer months in Minnesota at Forest Lake. About 15 min north of Mounds View High School...As I look back now... The older I get, the better I was. Have a good day!! Drop me a line and say hello.
