Well, we finally made it.  65 years July 4th 2021.  65 years ago l said the famous words.  The "rev" Altum ask, do you take this woman and l said "l DO".  I still don't know why she chose me but l am sure glad she did.  The
Some turnings l put together  from rings left over from other pieces that I made. I had  over  80 rings stacked  up so l decided to  just stack them up  and  see how they came out.  The  wood is purple heart,  african paduk

A piece of fig from the neighbors yard also.  They still have an olive tree left.  Just waiting for it to die.  LOL.
A few pieces of ash wood my neighbor brought over.  Kind of neat.   Always thought ash was white.   Found out it is  in several colors, even black.  Love to have some of that.
A piece of walnut, I think, I found in the  backyard.   Not too bad  9" x 4".    Kind of warrm in the  shop  now.   Think I,ll do  some  designing  for a while.  In the house.
A little piece put together with random scraps I had laying around.  The colors  are in no particular pattern. Just whatever I had.   Lost it on the lath.   Had a chesil hang up with 4 rings stacked.  Blew into about 8 piec
Had gobs of usable rings left over from other turnings.  Decided to stack them and see what came out.  Not  too bad.  Got another one coming up.   Stay tuned.
Another one that was just stacked with no particular pattern. Have a few more rings left but not enough to stack.   Guess I just gotta do some more originals.

The last of the  excess rings useable.  Think i,ll do some natural turnings for a change, for a while.
Had a bunch of assorted rings laying around so, I decided to stack them and see what the results would look like.  Must say, not bad at all. Got a staved vessel that blew up on me.  Found all the pieces got them glued back
This is one third of a piece l started with.  Had the whole piece almost finished when I got my chisel hung up in it.  Was able to save this lower part.  Will try again later but, l have another one cut out ready to start g
Another resurrection from the scrap box.  Part of the open segment piece I lost off the lathe.  Was able to restore the center section and!!!!  there it is!  The white is pine.
Looks like the family might be complete, maybe.  Little different one on the drawing board.
This is the latest .  Just used what ever pieces laying around.  No particular pattern, just random pieces put together.  Doesn't look too bad.  Got to do something about marketing some.  Running out of room.  Any ideas any
A couple of strips of zebra wood a friend gave me.  5" w 5" h. Kind of neat.  Get it?  Zebra and stripes. Neck isn't as long.  Didn't have enough wood.
