donald's Story

Hi fellow classmates, Here is a brief rundown of my past. After High school I went to Valley College where I played football, ran track and made the Dean's List. hung out with Dave Bobo, Ron Cutler, and with John Butler on the Football team. and with John Fulton and Bud Forman on the track team. Then I joined the Navy, I was trained in Electronics as a radar tech. I was on the USS Oklahoma City and we went to Japan, Philippines, Hong Kong, Saigon, etc. We were the Flagship for the 7th Fleet. ast of Vietnam shooting down MIGs with guided missiles and supported ground troops with shore bombardment from our 6 and 8 inch Guns. Then It was back to Valley College for another year. I worked in Electronics, Real Estate, Taught Tennis, CPR, and coached High School Tennis. I am still coaching Tennis at Cathedral City High School. I lived in Bishop, CA for 15 years, working at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and teaching tennis. I live in Rancho Mirage, CA, just a hop, skip and a jump from Redlands. I drive by the old High School sometimes.
