Life Hello to all, I am officially retired from the US Navy as o January 1, 2010, after more than 28yrs of service. It has been a long and full career having come up through the enlisted ranks to receive my commission. I am still getting used to being “retired.” But, I have been working since March 15th for Cubic Applications, Inc as a defense contractor at US Joint Forces Command's Joint Warfighting Center (JWFC) in Suffolk, VA. I’ve been contracted to support the center as an Opposing Forces Planner (aka Bad Guy) assigned to the OPFOR Sea Planning Module. We provide Modeling & Simulations for war-gaming in support of joint exercises. OPFOR's role to to play the "red" forces or "enemy" for joint commands around the world to war-game against. After our 10 year reunion in 91, I finished my BS in Electrical Engineering at Old Dominion University, Norfok, VA and was commissioned an Ensign in Aug 93. December 13, 2008, I was awarded a Masters in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University. It was a chore balancing Navy, family and school but, I did it! I was last assigned to Commander, US Second Fleet as the Deputy Director of Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection.
