Donna's Story
. . . . After University of Fla. taught typing, shorthand, 11th-grade English at Keystone Heights High School; married Terry Marable following year (whom I'd known since Freshman Orientation Week!); moved to Phoenix for Terry's graduate school; then to Cleveland & Medina, OH, Fairview, PA, Annapolis, MD; enjoyed a great life entertaining many guests from around the world. Have 1 son + two sons-in-law, 2 daughters + 1 daughter-in-law, five grandchildren & 6 granddogs - dearly love them all! In our 34th year, Terry died - he was only 58. Tried Fla. again, but soon moved over here to the beautiful white, sugar-sand beach coast of LA (lower Alabama)- work full-time as a municipal...Expand for more
revenue officer - doesn't sound very interesting - but, believe me, it has been!
. . . . Update: Quit work 2010! Love, love, LOVE it! Now (2013) have 7 grandchildren & 7 granddogs. My own 3 rescued dogs make for busy days! . . . . still enjoying Lower Alabama (Gulf Shores).
July, 2015 Not on Classmates site, but just found Janet Russell, my best friend from 8th, 9th & 10th grades before her Dad got transferred, then we re-found each other 2 1/2 yrs. later & were college roommates in Gainesville dorms/apartments for years. We hadn't seen each other in 27 years since our 40th birthday, WHAT a blast!
P.S. I'm going to have twin grandbabies in November ! ! God is Good !
