Donna's Story
After graduating from High School, I attended District Vocational School at Lewisporte, then worked for two years before entering The Salvation Army Training College in St. John's, where I trained for two years. I have now been an ordained minister with The Salvation Army for the past 30 years. Some places I've been appointed are:
Trout River, Brighton, Corner Brook, Deer Lake, Blaketown, Rocky Harbour, Happy Valley/Goose Bay, Port aux Basques, Glovertown, Hare Bay, and now I am presently stationed with my husband in Musgrave Harbour on a circuit ministry wit...Expand for more
h Carmanville. We are also responsible for the former Deadman's Bay Corps. A challenging career, but I have loved every moment of it!
If I won $100 million, I'd give 50% of it to Sponsor Children, then spend the rest on our retirement home, give some to friends and family and charities.
My best friend would tell you I'm full of life and fun, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as reserved.
In 10 years, I hope to be still doing what I love, ministry. I'm going to get there by taking one day at a time and enjoying every moment!.
