Life Life for me has changed drastically since my last visit to Thermop for our 20 yr reunion. Many of you met my husband Ted, but not all of you knew that he had just been diagnosed with recurrent kidney cancer. We thought the surgery to remove his kidney the year before had taken care of everything, but it came back nine months later. We started making trips to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston as soon as we returned to LA. He died a little over a year later. My boys and I adjusted to a huge life change, and I was able to use my experience to help several people walking the same road. I hope to be able to do that for years to come. This summer God blessed us with a wonderful new family. The announcement I posted cut off in mid-sentence so I thought I'd share more here. My new husband is a chaplain in the USAF. He truly is an officer and a gentleman! And he's a riot!!! He keeps me laughing. He has a daughter who graduates this year and a son in 8th grade. His son and my younger son Hunter are only one month apart in age. His daughter, my older son Garrett and I all share the same birthday (different years, obviously!).
