Donna's Story
Life
My life has been very rewarding after school I traveled and enjoyed being selfish I met and fell in love with the man of my dreams on March 7, 1982 we had a miracle child in 1983 and he has been the joy of our lives since. I homeschooled him and owned a daycare for several years My dream has always been to be a fashion designer or a school teacher but God saw fit to give me so many wonderful kids to take care of and love we still have parties for them our oldest Kid so to speak is 19 now I am now a Nanny to 2 wonderful kids Julia is 11 and Emily is 9 I have been with them for 8 years I guess you could say I love kids and am doing what I love.
School
I never had a crush on a teacher I respected Elder Allen the most. Mrs. Salsbury tried so hard to teach me to be domestic and I gave her gray hair but finally learned and excelled in cooking and sewing. My funniest moment in school was when Shawn Hogerty made me laugh so hard I fell over in my desk wear...Expand for more
ing a dress and my feet were sticking straight up in Mrs. Irwins class. or playing practical jokes in the dorm. I think I learned alot out there I would do it again because I got to cut up and play pranks and make the most wonderful friends.
College
I worked at Vacation Bible school two summers so I decided to go up to Walla-Walla College and take Secretarial and took a Law Enforcement class but I wanted to come home and be in the City I love being in a city Enviroment so I went to Western Business College downtown and finished Secretarial there.
Workplace
I think the freakiest job was in California at the National Guard typing recruit papers. I worked at Plush Pippin in Tigard for awhile and that was so much fun. I was a stay at home mom for the early years of Chris' life and then worked as an Assistant manager at an Apt Complex until I started a Daycare I guess my life has progressed in the direction I wanted it to go, I still love fashion Design.
