Donna's Story
Donna is from Port Alberni, British Columbia. She is married. Her schools include Alberni District High School. She later attended University of Victoria (Learning disabilities, special education andEnvironmental Education).
I married the guy I was engaged to in gr.12. But divorced 6 years later. So moved to the Okanagan where I worked for SFU and OK school district. Met my current wonderful husband skiing there and we have been together since that time. I have worked in a variety of roles and school districts and had a fulfilling career. brings so I can visit my daughter in Alberta. We have also been checking off the bucket list with Bali being my number one. Have done most of central America and have fallen in love with Costa Rica and it's people. We are avid sailors so find the winds and sea in CT fabulous.
I have continued to enjoy my art, enrolling in Vancouver community college for a silversmithing course- great fun going back to school as a student. Along with jewelry making I do lapidary, watercolor and still sew. I am a keen gardener and also do bonsai.
