Donna Hatton:  

I wanted To Be A Cowboys Sweetheart! Donna (Woodcock) Hatton is the wife of a fourth generation rancher in Colorado. she grew up in a military family and traveled extensivly around the United States and lived in Japan in the fifties and sixties. After completing high school Donna's family was transferred to Colorado Springs where she worked in the area of healthcare until meeting her husband. They have three children...two sons who ranch with them and a daughter who teaches 6th grade...two daughters-in-law. Donna now has five grandchildren, two step grandchildren and her and a son-ni-law. Laurie, Donna's daughter who was married in 2007 is expecting her first child. Donna has studied voice with Scott Martin and is a professional vocalist,gospel singer, cowboy poet/storyteller/songwriter and performs at cowboy gatherings and for schools and organizations around the country with her husband Tom. She was featured in a PBS special called "Cowboy Corral" filmed in Lewiston, Idaho and was nominated for Lady Cowboy Poet to the Academy of Western Artists in 2003. She a top five Lady Cowboy Poet of 2003 and 2005 and tom and Donna are the Acadeny of Western Artists winners of the Will Rogers Award for Cowboy Poetry CD Album 2005 Donna has been nominated for Lady Cowboy Poet, Storyteller and Western Female Volcalist for 2003,2004 and 2005. She loves riding horses and has worked as a equine specialist, training and showing english and western disiplines.
