Donna's Story

Life My bio must be changed now. Alas, life changes as do our lives. I am currently separated and have adjusted well to my situation. I always liked being single because there is FREEDOM in not having a man try to rule your life. Unfortunately, I have always had poor judgment when it came to the opposite sex but thats okay.I can now enjoy my life to the fullest and I feel great. My son is my first priority and its a shame that his father is an alcoholic and terrorized him which is why he is gone for good. anted to come to our high school reunion but my husband was drinking at the time and there was no way I was leaving my son home with him. He would get drunk and "play" with him, wrestling with him and eventually hurting him. Being that I never lived with my father I thought thats how fathers and sons played, but my gut always told me different. If anyone of you is living with an alcoholic, they don't change. They cry, beg, plead that it won't happen again, but guess what? It's only a matter of time. So if I can help anyone out there with my story, please don't let anyone take your heart and soul and stomp it into the ground. They are not worth it. They can't love you if they don't love themselves. They don't change, they only pretend to and try to bring you down with them. Kick them to the curb before they pull you into their pit of misery. I did and I have never been better. Hope to hear from you soon.
