I started right after graduation by working for a while for a couple of Veterinarians. I moved on to clerical work for 6 months and wound up at the Post Office Airport Mail Facility. That was a strange place, and I discovered that I like working swing shift, but hate graveyard. I left there in early 1970 and spent that year traveling and working temp positions, including vacation substitute driving catering trucks.
