Doreen's Story

After I graduated in 1963 I attended Teacher's College in Regina and began a teaching career that lasted 37 years. I taught elementary school and was a district administrator in Saskatchewan (mostly in Estevan) for 30 years and then I moved to Phoenix to earn my PhD in Reading Education and to teach at the university there. 03 I moved to Calgary, then to Medicine Hat and to White Rock, Bc for 3 years in each place, but in the summer of 2011 I moved back to Calgary to be near family (I have no kids but my siblings and their children live here). Now I spend my time traveling, shopping, working out, reading, crafting, visiting, walking, biking and playing a little golf.
