Doris's Story
Wow! Can't believe it's been 40 years since HS! Remember the uniforms and how we hated them.. anybody else wish FOR them now-a-days?
I currently live in Texas (since 1994) and have been mostly enjoying it. Hurricane Ike caused a big ruckus but we weathered that storm and made our house stronger (new windows) for whatever next comes along.
My main extracurricular activity these days is bowling. I enjoy going to tournaments with my teammates, and that usually includes travel, my other favorite thing to do.
I've been fortunate enough to go to France, Italy, Germany, S. Korea (all to visit John & family - Army), Romania (my Master's program) and Italy with my sister & friends.

f the Lake University (San Antonio/Houston) with a BA in Management, in 2002. I went on to get my MA in Organizational Leadership from the same university, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2005.
I'm still married to my sweetie of 39+ years, Don Powers (KW '68). Our 2 sons John & Jason are both married to lovely young ladies. John has 3 children ages 11, 10 and 4. Being grandma is GREAT!!
I've just completed 30 years with ConocoPhillips (formerly Conoco). Actually I hired on with them in Casper in 1976 but was laid off in 2003, worked elsewhere 4 years or so, and was rehired back, with time bridged so on paper it looks like I've been with the company all along during the 30 years.
God has been REALLY good to Don and I and our family, and we are very thankful for that!
Don and I will be at the 40-yr reunion and are looking forward to seeing y'all (that's Texan for "you guys")!!
