Doris's Story

Life Briefly - Divorced twice. Married 3x. Life is good now. 6 years remarried. Daughter in college. Son in high school. Stay-at-home mom/wife right now. My #1 priority is my relationship with God, my health, my children, trading, relationships with people. I have a plethera of friends from church, athletic endeavors, community service, college, childhood, online, trading, and all over. Unlike how I was growing up, as an adult, I'm quite athletic. In 2007, I began training for triathlons (on hold right now) and have done one sprint triathlon. I will continue in this as I stabilize other areas of my life. I love weightlifting, yoga, Tang Soo Do (Korean Martial arts), kickboxing, aerobic classes. Both my kids are active doing gymnastics & soccer. They also love cycling, skateboarding and rollerskating. Life as a single parenting has been quite busy and often stressful. Love the outdoors, natural, holistic things. Love to read non-fiction in the areas of medical, alternative health, trading, relationships, God, finances, fitness, health, languages, people. My spirit is very much the heart of an entrepreneur. Love to see people succeed and celebrate their successes with them. Love to empower people and see them being their best. My life has its ups and downs, however, I am a victor and not a victim, a Champion that inspires and motivates others to dream again, and to step out in faith in God to reach for the stars. Why not? Life is too short to waste it. Failure is not truly failure until you give up. It just gives you another opportunity to begin again more intelligently. God has been teaching me a l...Expand for more
ot about life, some has been through the school of hardknocks, but at least I'm learning and changing. Praise God!!! I also love to teach others how to make their money work hard for them and dispel many myths about the stock market, 401Ks, mutual funds, etc. If you're interested in learning, message me here. Maybe eventually I'll make some trading DVDs and have a website to sell them at reasonable prices that normal people can afford. I realize over 20 yrs, a lot of people have changed immensely. Life has a tendency to grow people up. Since I had to grow up very quickly as a child, I think a part of my adult, I reverted to being a child and it's been a huge learning process as I lived a very sheltered childhood where my parents controlled a lot of things. As a parent now, I'm learning to have control, as well as to relinquish it so my children can learn to make good decisions without their hand being held all the time. It's about being responsible and accountable for the choices you make, whether good or bad, and not blaming other people. Bad things happen to all people, but we still have choices in everything, like our attitudes. It makes a huge difference in how we view life. We can stay stuck, which is our choosing, or move forward. It takes courage to move forward and we can all do it. I'm learning to be real, to be transparent and not care what others think about me, and to learn to truly live life, to be loved and to love. My nature is very analytical and this is both a good trait and one that can bring many challenges to a person. Life is what we make of it. What kind of life do you want? Go for it!!!
