dorothy's Story
I left Pomona in 1978 after my divorce. I had one beautiful daughter with my first husband. I moved to the East coast (Maryland) where my family was from originally. I met my husband in 1981 in Maryland and we married in 1985. since our marriage we have lived in Pensylvania, So. Carolina and back to Maryland. he was Vice Presendent for a company that built maintenance eqiuipment for the railroad, that's why all the moving. We retired in 1986 and returned to his hometown, Wewoka, Ok. It's 65 miles east of Oklahoma City. e court house and I work part time at our beautiful little library. Guess we just aren't retiring people. We do love to travel and make it to California fairly often as my brother lives in Santa Barbara. I also still have family on the East Coast and we go there and hit many spots of interest on the way. We enjoy Santa Fe, N.M.,and Destin, Fl., any where in the United States. We are fortunate to live on a pretty little lake just outside of town where we love to fish and boat. We hope all of our grandkids are making wonderful memories at grandma's and Pap's
where they love to fish,swim, boating and explore. Together we have 5 children, 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. God has truely Blessed us.
