Dorothy is from Beatrice, Nebraska. Dorothy is married to Douglas Hanshaw. Dorothy's schools include Saint Mary's Catholic School from 1963-68, Beatrice Public and High Schools from 1968-1973, Notre Dame Academy from 1973-74, and graduated from Tri County High School in 1975. Dorothy later attended Southeast Community College of Nursing in Beatrice,NE graduating in 1983. Dorothy work(ed) at Crete Manor and Beatrice Manor.

More about Dorothy:"I am an early retiree-Prior to that I was a nurse who loved being a nurse and I miss it a lot. I am married, will be 40 years this month.
We bought an acreage in 2009, and we raise chickens, turkeys, cattle, cats, and kids! Very proud of my family and love country life. I have 5 kids and 5 grandkids. One of my sons is the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln (NE), my youngest son is a career body builder and has won medals in competition, and has recently started modeling. I grew up in Joplin, MO, moved to Beatrice NE in 1968, and attended BHS until 1973, when I moved to Omaha, NE and attended Notre Dame Academy from 1973-74. I then moved to Plymouth NE and graduated from there in 1975.
